If you are looking for a distance shooter, the Quail's 224 Valkyrie caliber is just the ticket.  With more velocity than the standard 5.56, it shoots very flat and is able to engage targets easily to 500 yards and beyond.  With the proper long range ammo, 700 yard hits are possible.  The Quail's 18" 224 Valkyrie barrel is the jewel of the firearm as it can achieve better than 1 MOA accuracy right out of the box.
